The Desert Botanical Garden is a gorgeous, and popular place for photos, especially engagement portrait sessions. I’ve done quite a few sessions here, but I was really excited to schedule this engagement session.

Jeremy did his research online looking for an engagement photographer in the Phoenix area. He found my website, and loved my style and professional appearance of my photos. We chatted for a bit over email on some location ideas and dates. His first pick was the Botancial Garden, and I loved his idea.

We set his session for as early as possible in the morning, hoping to avoid some of the harsh light, and the crowds due to the Chihuly Exhibit. We did have a few moments to ourselves, but, DBG is a popular place and it quickly filled up. Luckily most people understand you’re taking engagement photos for someone and try to give space to shoot.

Jeremy and his fiancee were so much fun to shoot with. We shared a lot of laughs, and even had a few things in common, as both of us lived the in DC area before moving to Phoenix, AZ. And, he’s studying to become a dentist, and my professional back includes working in the dental industry.
