Mommy and Me Photos in Phoenix

Sometimes plans change, and you have to roll with it. Our original plan was to do some family portraits for Nicole, but her husband had to work last minute. We were both excited to do the session, so we pivoted, and made changed it to Mommy and Me Photos.

I met Nicole and her newborn daughter Charlie at Scorpion Gulch, located at South Mountain in Phoenix for some Mommy and Me Photos. Normally, this place is pretty busy with visitors, and especially with other photography sessions just before sunset. It was a perfect weather day, so I was shocked when I got there, and we were the only ones there! It was very calming being able to walk around the entire grounds and have them all to ourselves.  Eventually a few others did show up and take advantage of the perfect evening.

I cannot say enough about her daughter, Charlie. She was great the entire portrait session. Not once did she get “fussy”, whine, cry, or scream, which is totally normal for babies and young children. She was all happy smiles the whole time!
