One of my top requests is taking senior photos at Papago Park in Phoenix, AZ.  If you’re looking for a local place that offers some classic desert scenes, then this is the place for you. Papago Park offers a great local location with palm trees, water, and Hole in the Rock formation for portraits, giving you a desert vibe without having to travel too far. Disclaimer though, there aren’t very man cacti here, so if you’re looking for that element, we’ll have to go a little further out (check out my list of top photography locations).

Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona, is one of the more popular places locally to have photos taken. So it’s no surprise to show up and see a bunch of photo sessions going on at the same time. The great thing though, is there are plenty of options to move around and find great locations and backgrounds. You can even walk up closer to Hole in the Rock, and get some nice overhead views looking out at Phoenix.
