Alex is a senior at Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix, AZ.  To say he’s had a wild senior year, is putting it mildly. He’s had to deal with the ending of his senior year being overcome by COVID-19 and quarantine, quickly switching to complete online classes, and more. After the state opened back up, his mom reached out to me to shoot his Mountain Pointe senior photos.

Any time I’m asked to shoot senior photos for the Class of 2020, I’m excited and honored. Its a small way that I can try to offer a little stability and normalcy to these seniors, with their senior portraits.

We met up one evening just before sunset for his session, just outside Phoenix in the Ahwatukee Foothills.  There’s a popular biking trail that runs through this park/hiking trail. Throughout our session, many riders going by yelled their congrats and greetings for Alex after he donned his cap and gown. It was great to see the support from everyone in the community.
