Chandler Senior Portraits

I love shooting senior portraits.  I love giving seniors the chance to have be the center of attention, and focus on them, their talents, hobbies, and interests. Recently, David’s dad reached out to me about a senior portraits in Chandler, AZ for his son. His son is a high school senior in Chandler who enjoys volleyball and basketball.  When we talked about details, such as shoot location, he mentioned one request: that his son would like to have a few photos with his dog. It wasn’t an odd request, as I always encourage seniors to bring props to their shoot, or anything that captures their personality. Full disclosure: DOGS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!

Senior Portrait Session With A Dog

We decided on Scorpion Gulch at South Mountain, in Phoenix, AZ for David’s senior portraits.  The ruins at Scorpion Gulch are very unique, and provide a beautiful backdrop for any type of portrait session. It’s a smaller space, and is extremely popular, so be prepared to run into other photography sessions going on at the same time. Usually there isn’t an issue, as most photographers are mindful and work together to share the space.

David brought two outfits, a casual option and a suit. We started with his navy blue suit, with was a perfect contrast to the rock and earth tone structures. Once we got a few photos done, his family brought Bear over to take a few photos with David. Bear couldn’t have been happier, or a better behaved dog!

If you’re looking for a senior portrait photographer, I’d love to talk with you, and reserve a date on the calendar. Contact me below, or send me a message and let’s chat about your Chandler senior portraits!
