Family Photos At The Salt River

When Deanna contacted me, she wasn’t so sure where to shoot at. I gave her a list of suggested top photography locations to give her beautiful background.  She’s originally from New Mexico, but wanted something to showcase her new home of Arizona. She saw some previous images of the Salt River near Saguaro Lake, and she knew that was the spot.  We chose The Water Users Recreation Area to meet at and take her family photos at the Salt River.

When I first arrived, I was a little worried about the weather as it started looking like stormy weather in the horizon. The clouds and overcast sky gave us some beautiful light to shoot her family portraits with.  It was such a fun time to meet Deanna and her family, and capture some special moments for her (her daughter even found some cool looking rocks in the river!).

Regardless of the heat, we had a blast, and Deanna and her family enjoyed cooling off in the water at the end of the session. Check out some of the photos from her family photo session at the Salt River in Arizona.
