Maternity Photos in DC

I’m excited to re-share these maternity photos at Merdian Hill Park in Washington, DC.  Lately I’ve been going through my collections, and revisiting older shoots, as my editing style has changed a bit recently. My goal is to provide classic, timeless images that your’e proud to display for years to come. 

About Meridian Hill Park

Meridian Hill Park in DC is an iconic, popular park for locals. The park is full of life and various events, and you can even find drum circles on Sunday afternoons.  A couple of quick facts about the park include:

• The thirteen basin cascading fountain is the longest in North America.
• The Joan of Arc Statue is the only equestrian statue of a woman in Washington, D.C.

These are a couple of photos from Heather and Joey’s maternity session in Washington, D.C., as they got ready to welcome their first child. It was mid summer and if you know anything about Northern VA / DC., you know it gets hot  and humid. We tried to shoot as early as possible to avoid some of the discomfort, but Heather was a trooper!
