Senior Portraits at Riparian Preserve

This was the last senior portrait session of the spring, since Arizona is under a shelter at home mandate due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While this session was scheduled just before the mandate was issued, we still practiced social distancing between ourselves, and with other groups of people in the park. When Caleb’s mom first reached out to me, I addressed these concerns with her, and I felt better that we were both on the same page. To ensure we were following guidelines, I only shot with my Canon 70-200, and did not have any close interaction with them during the shoot. It made me plan things a little different prior to the session, than I would normally do. Here are a few samples from Caleb’s senior portraits at Riparian Preserve in Gilbert.

Portraits at the Riparian Preserve

The Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert, AZ is a popular location for portrait photography. During the busy season, you’ll see lots of photographers around the fenced in cactus at the entrance, in the open field spaces, and around the water. It gives some great options to get some different looks, right in the middle of Gilbert.
