Portrait Photography in Phoenix

Sarah and I originally connected through Instagram. It took a while for our busy work schedules to mesh, but we were able to to set up a portrait photography session before she left town on an extended work trip.

Location

We chose to met up at Tempe Town Lake, ready to shoot just before sunset. I always try to plan shoots in the golden hour of the day, and avoid the harsh sunlight during midday if possible. Tempe Town Lake in Tempe, AZ is a popular spot with local photographers due to its open space, and various settings and backgrounds. For our session, the weather was perfect, coupled with those clear beautiful Arizona skies. Sarah was great to work with. She knew exactly what to do, and how to pose, making my job even easier.
