Now that we’re in early March, we’re starting to have perfect weather days for shooting. It’s not too hot (yet), and the evening light is extended a little further with sunset around 6:20-6:30. I took advantage of the weather to shoot some model portraits in Phoenix.

Reilly and I connected through Instagram, and set up our shoot. We planned a modeling portfolio / portrait photography session that she could also use for personal branding. We decided for Scorpion Gulch at South Mountain in Phoenix for our photography session. While it was a little packed, as is usual for the weekends, we had a great portrait photography session. Scorpion Gulch is a popular photography spot in Phoenix, and offers several unique settings, including the ruins with stone and textured walls, and the desert setting just across the street. This is a great area for senior portraits, head shot photography, family photography sessions, engagements and more.

We were able to capture several different looks, and here are just a few samples. Reilly was awesome to work with, and I look forward to shooting with her again.
