Downtown Phoenix Wedding - Jackie and Travis

Arizona has a lot of amazing venues for weddings, especially outdoor locations with spectacular views. But, just as amazing are some of the venues Phoenix and the rest of the Valley offer, such as On Jackson. This upscale space is where Travis and Jackie had one of the most fun weddings I’ve been a part of.

Travis originally reached out to me over the summer, looking for a professional photographer to capture their special day. Being from out of town, he did his regular online search for top rated wedding photographers in Phoenix, and found me. We shared a couple of emails back and forth and realized that our vibes were a good match. Travis and Jackie were pretty laid back – just wanting to get some great photos of their wedding, and trust their photographer to do that. We talked about a brief timeline, shot list, and some of the other details, and then booked their date.

I kept in touch over the months, just to check in and see how things were going, and if there were any updates or changes. As we got closer to the date, I worked with Alejandro  their coordinator who was also the brother in law!

I showed up a little early to do a walk through of the venue as it was my first time there. I met with the DJ, DJ Emmet, and the videographer, coordinated our plans and got started taking some groomsmen portraits, complete with a Wolfpack photo, and got ready for the ceremony. We were tight on time, but a good team makes it work. The videographer and I worked together for light on bridal portraits, since the sun had already set.  Then came the reception, which was one of the biggest dance parties I’ve seen!  Topped off with an Italian Ice station, photobooth, cigars, and a bubble exit, this downtown Phoenix wedding was perfect, and exactly what Jackie and Todd wanted.
